Alice-Louise has just released her debut single 'Puzzle Of A Day' today on iTunes. The song is from her debut album 'Captured' due to be released later this year.
Alice-Louise is a hard working, driven musician based in Christchurch New Zealand. Alice-Louise gained passion for the arts at a young age, through a family-friend and musician, who soon became her mentor.
Alice-Louise continually works hard to improve her craft as a vocalist, and from the word go performed publicly, becoming New Zealandʼs youngest finalist in TV 3ʼs “Wannabees” in 2003, a talent show for teenagers around the country. Since then, Alice-Louise (having a strong personal connection to breast cancer) has sung at Charity events such as “Run to Heal” in both Auckland and Christchurch, to help raise money for breast cancer awareness, all these events in which other notable New Zealand performers ( such as Tina Cross and Suzanne Lynch) have been apart of. World Vision and The Christchurch City Council are also organisations in which Alice-Louise is connected to, and has performed for in recent years.
Being the youngist soloist in the ʻInternational Jazz and Blues Festival in 2009 was a huge honour for Alice-Louise, as was singing in ʻCoca Cola Christmas in the parkʼ in 2007.
Overall, Alice-Louise hopes to take her music to the next level, continuing to write her own songs and connecting with people. She hopes to record an album of original songs in 2012, and start performing her songs to people all around New Zealand, and possibly abroad.
