BoxFresh Live! Session 2 is done and dusted. Last Saturday night was a sell out at Sawtooth Studios, with an exceptional line up of Christchurch artists on display. NZ Musician magazine is celebrating NZ Music Month with a Boosted.org.nz crowd funding campaign to help fund the design of an entirely new website platform. NZM editor Richard Thorne describes it as the 27-year old magazine’s most important re-invention yet – developing an exciting future online presence – in combination with a readily accessible archive of the local music industry’s recent past.

The MMF Music Managers Awards celebrates the very best of those New Zealand music managers who support their artists every step of the way. The awards have become one of this country's most respected music industry events.

House of Mountain have just released their brand new video for the bands debut single “Kiwi Hit.” The song is a satirical look at the lives of local, lazy, rock musicians trying to find their break in the industry.

Randy Hansen, guitar virtuoso and one of the few guitarists in the world to be recognised by the Hendrix family is coming to New Zealand in May for four shows in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton. 

RoundUp 2016 heats are set to begin this Wednesday night at the Darkroom. The legendary Christchurch Live Band is underway once again, with 4 competitive heats across May. Only 1 band from each heat will proceed to the Final, to be joined for the first time by a wild card, the grand Champion of the UC Battle of the Bands competition!
