Along the way smashing shows on the Hudson river and all over the USA and Europe not to mention scaling volcanoes and even head butting some marine life. Critically acclaimed as one of the greatest one-man-bands in the world and an equally fine voice to match.

Stan Walker will well and truly hit the road this year, taking on an extensive national tour that will see him travel from Whangarei to Invercargill, playing 23 shows across the country through September and October.

Pallet Pavilion

Gap Filler is a post-quake urban regeneration initiative in Christchurch, NZ that activates vacant sites with temporary, creative projects for community benefit. Christchurch was devastated by a series of earthquakes in 2010 and 2011 that left much of the city in ruins and many people without homes. 185 people died.
 

Ahoribuzz

Ahoribuzz have just dropped the video for their new single 'Sugar' out May 24. The video, directed by Ella Rose, features Hollie Smith and Laughton Kora who lend their vocals on the track and of course Aaron Tokona. 

Beastwars Blood Becomes Fire NZ Tour 2013

Two years ago Wellington sonic soothsayers Beastwars changed the meaning of heavy music in New Zealand with their self titled debut album.

On April 19 the band will release their second album ‘Blood Becomes Fire’. The record is already receiving critical acclaim internationally and being cited by many as “the metal album of the year”.

Entries are now open for the 2013 APRA Silver Scroll Awards.  The Silver Scroll Awards celebrate excellence in three areas – the APRA Silver Scroll for the best original song, the APRA Maioha Award for the best contemporary waiata, and the SOUNZ Contemporary Award for the best contemporary classical work.

Smokefreerockquest 2013
