The New Music Collective presents Bazi Baker Quartet and Toro
The New Music Collective is themed night with two bands of a similar style but with their own thing going on.
All genres are celebrated and it’s a chance to see new collaborations between musicians and artists in Christchurch and beyond.
Next Thursday on May 31st we have two great original bands performing at Darkroom Kickin off about 8.30pm Great wines. beers and nibbles.

B Boy Baker and his band of bad to the bone boppers are back and ready to rock you’re socks! With a set of original music they’re gonna make sure you get a good old dose of home grown creativity. Toro is a modern electric music trio improvising on compositions by Mike Ferrar. The music is grooved based and influenced by genres from rock and funk to jazz and free music. Toro comprises Mike Ferrar (electric guitar), Mike Story (electric bass) and Joe McCallum (drums)
