Nightchoir 'See The First Star' album release tour
ElevenfiftySeven Records are both proud and extremely excited to announce NIGHTCHOIR’s second full length album 'See the first Star' will be released on August 10th, followed by a seven date NZ tour.
Recorded at Roundhead Studios and The Lab, ‘See the First Star’ follows the break up of PLUTO, with whom, all three members played in for over a decade. “PLUTO was the still the main focus for all of us while writing our first album, but since parting ways nearly two years ago, NIGHTCHOIR has become the priority", says Mike Hall.
Mike Hall, Matthias Jordan and Mike Franklin-Browne’s musical project has been described as “Densely textured and delightfully executed” by the Otago Daily Times. “Sublime” by North and South Magazine, and the NZ Herald said “Nightchoir create music at its understated yet riveting best”
The new album expands on the emerging sound of their first album ’24 Hours Of Night’ and takes the listener into new territories.
NIGHTCHOIR “SEE THE FIRST STAR” will be released on August 10th 2012 through 1157 Records. Distributed by Rhythmethod.
