Tom Lark and Lawrence Arabia to play CMJ Music Marathon 2012
CMJ Music Marathon is one the world’s most important platform for the discovery of new music. Every fall, CMJ invades New York City with over 1,300 artist performances, filling more than 80 of the city’s greatest venues, nightclubs and theatres.
This year’s New Zealand line-up is particularly strong with Lawrence Arabia, Popstrangers, Tom Lark, Die!Die!Die!, Ghost Wave, Six60, Opossum, and Kimbra, all showcasing throughout the week.
In addition to their official showcases the following will be performing at the annual New Zealand@CMJ showcase taking place on Tuesday 16th October, 6 – 9pm at Le Poisson Rouge on Bleecker St:
Lawrence Arabia, Popstrangers, Tom Lark, Die!Die!Die!, Ghostwave, and Six60
The New Zealand@CMJ showcase kicks off immediately after the CMJ college mixer: an event, held in the same venue, that heralds the beginning of the CMJ Music Marathon when over 150 college radio program directors and station managers gather together to network and share ideas.
