Wishful Thinking take on Christchurch Folk Music Club

Wishful Thinking will be performing at the Christchurch Folk Music Club on Sunday 17th June at 7.30pm.

"Wishful Thinking" are long-time jam mates who enjoy harmonies and ferreting out lesser- known songs.

Chris Budgen (guitar, vocals), Dave Evison (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Dave Beckingham (ukulele, vocals) all have long associations with Folk Clubs in Auckland and/ or Christchurch and have played at open mic nights and the recent Waipara Festival."

They meet once a week as part of a wider group of "plinkers" and somehow seem to have come to the point where thinking about getting up on stage doesn't seem quite so wishful.
 
 
Tickets: members $7, non-members $12. Door sales only. Doors open 7.00 pm.
 
The Christchurch Folk Music Club is meeting at the Irish Society Hall at 25 Domain Terrace, Spreydon. This concert begins 7.30 pm. The bar and doors will be open from 7 pm.
