The first full-length release from No Broadcast, a self-titled album, is to be made available independently by the band on April 5th.
Building on the previous EP, Null and Void, released while under the name Anthesiac, the band has created a cohesive album that journeys from beginning to end effortlessly impressing, never letting go for a moment, to create a record to stand among the best.
Songs from the album have already received good airplay on Christchurch radio station RDU 98.5 FM, with track More Wrong Than Right reaching the top 10 in their hometown, as well as reaching the number one position on the charts of the New Zealand music website and community www.undertheradar.co.nz with track Realise.
The website also has an upcoming review for the album.
“…it’s hard to pin No Broadcast to a notice board, but the unique mix is in no way damaging. With hints of Muse, Radiohead and Deftones, thrown in with a wall of aggressive sound and heaviness… Self produced, mixed and released, this record is a massive step ahead from their 2011 release Null and Void. With no filler tracks, it is a head above other Christchurch releases, and demands international recognition. The album opens up with single-worthy Reset the Sun, mixing a thick and heavy guitar mix, layered beautiful and emotional guitar melodies…” - Daniel Pullar.
